September 27, 2017 Grand Canyon, AZ
My sister, Amanda, lost her battle to a glioblastoma on December 30, 2016. Her one wish, before and after her diagnosis was to visit the Grand Canyon. This is my way to honor her, for us to stand, and witness the beauty of the Grand Canyon together.
The lack of interventions, funding, and research that encompass the diagnosis of a brain tumor will not change unless we, as a community, advocate, ensuring innovative research is realized, funded, and that it ultimately yields new therapies or treatments for patients. This is my way to give back and speak out for those who have lost their voice to this horrible disease. Thank you for your support!
