GIVING THROUGH GLASS
3000 Miles to a Cure is thrilled to have been selected as one of five winners of Google’s 2014 Giving through Glass challenge. The application we proposed will leverage Google Glass to share the raw experience of our athletes’ journeys and pair their progress and perseverance with fundraising pledge milestones and notes of encouragement along the route. For the first time, you’ll be able to see and experience RAAM through a racer’s eyes and the racer will be alerted to every message of support and donation you send. This will create a powerful change-making cycle of encouragement, shared purpose and inspiration, giving the team the strength to power through the race.
